Buurtzorg Caribbean is a home care organization that provides professional and personalized care to people in their own homes, within their familiar environment. We operate according to the Buurtzorg model, which focuses on small-scale, client-centered care.

We offer a wide range of care services in the areas of long-term care, short-term care, and respite care, including:​ • Personal care (ADL care)​ • Preparing and administering medication​ • Administering injections​ • Infusion therapy​ • Pain management​ • Diabetes care​ • Case management and support for dementia​ • (Complex) wound care​ • Performing nursing procedures at the request of your treating physician or general practitioner​ • Palliative (end-of-life) care​ • Care and support for individuals with chronic conditions

You can request care by contacting us through our website, by phone, or via WhatsApp. We will schedule an intake consultation to discuss your care needs. A nurse will visit your home to determine the required care together with you and explore how our team can support you.

During the intake, we assess your care needs together. We can visit as often as necessary throughout the day. Our teams are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide the care you need.

We do not offer scheduled night care. However, our nursing team is reachable 24/7 for our clients. When necessary (for example, in cases of terminal care, complex wound care, or when you have a stoma or catheter), you can rely on receiving the appropriate care, even at night.

Yes, we provide care 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.

Yes, we accept temporary clients—for example, after a hospital stay or surgery. We also provide respite care and care for individuals temporarily staying on the islands.

Yes, we operate from Monday through Sunday. Please note that a surcharge applies on Sundays and public holidays.

Our nurses can assist in arranging supportive services through our collaboration with other professionals. For example, we can organize in-home physiotherapy or occupational therapy, arrange a meal service, or schedule visits from a hairdresser or medical pedicurist. Ask your nurse about the available options.
